Plants don't just need to look good in the greenhouse; they need to perform for the gardener -- that's why we take the pictures, do the research and talk with our customers year round. Every decision we make now affects what you find on our benches next year.
During the summer and fall, we go to gardens, taking pictures and making notes -- of what's good and sometimes, what's not. McCrory Gardens tests some of the new varieties and our employees have great trial gardens for our new products. We also research industry publication reviews and seed companies' performance trials.
Our gallery photos are of the gardens, homes, and businesses of Medary Acres customers.
McCrory Gardens Cottage Restoration
Medary Acres staff, Vikki Schaack and Linda Whitaker, donated their time to paint the house at McCrory Gardens and plant all the flowers. Medary Acres donated the plants and Barrett's Flooring and Decorating Center in Brookings donated the paint for the project.
